💼 About This Role

You'll embed with teams across Brex to understand workflows and design, build, and ship AI agents that deliver real outcomes. You'll work on top of existing models and frameworks, wiring together tools and internal systems into agentic workflows. This role offers the chance to iterate alongside the people whose work you're automating.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Embed with partner teams to deeply understand workflows through shadowing.
• Scope, design, and deploy agents that take over real workflows.
• Integrate agents with internal systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Define evaluation frameworks and success metrics for agent performance.
• Build shared tooling and own reliability, adoption, and business impact.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years in engineering, technical product/program management, or applied AI.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, agent frameworks, and tool-use patterns.
• Experience designing and optimizing SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong ability to decompose human workflows into scalable, agentic systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience automating back-office functions rather than customer-facing AI.
• Experience with OpenClaw, Hermes, or other general-purpose agent harnesses.
