💼 About This Role

You'll serve as product counsel for Klaviyo's engineering teams, advising on AI governance and product development. You'll apply your litigation background to assess risk and drive compliance with emerging regulations. This role offers a transition from litigation to a broad-based product counsel position at a high-growth tech company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise product teams on feature launches, terms of service, and policies.
• Develop AI governance frameworks and ensure compliance with laws like EU AI Act.
• Assess legal exposure and create proactive risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage litigation holds and support discovery processes.

📋 Requirements

• J.D. from accredited law school and active bar membership
• 4-7 years of experience with litigation foundation
• Experience advising on technology or product-related legal matters
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills

• Prior experience with AI or emerging technology legal issues
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
• In-house experience at a technology company
