Description

You will support cutting-edge semiconductor equipment software, triaging bugs, managing escalation calls with field engineers and customers, and helping with feature development and testing. Your work directly impacts real hardware operations in the semiconductor industry.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Software development skills in C++, C#
• Ability to read code and step through a debugger/IDE
• Business level English and Japanese
• 10+ years of software problem solving experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support SW Design Engineers in development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of semiconductor equipment software
• Triage mechanical, electrical and software bugs
• Manage escalation calls with field support engineers and customers at local level
• Work with customer to write correct specs for features, fix bugs, and develop small features
• Author, revise, and review system specifications, software designs, test plans, and other software documentation
