Description

In this fully remote role, you will review OASIS documentation for quality and accuracy, ensure proper ICD-10 coding, and communicate with service offices to support Medicare compliance and reduce denials. You will work with the PDGM billing model and CMS guidelines while maintaining productivity targets.

Requirements

• COS-C, HCS-O, or COQS certification required
• HCS-D or BCHH-C certification required
• Minimum 1 year experience in coding and OASIS review
• Knowledge of OASIS, Home Care, and Medicare regulations
• Pass coding quiz as part of interview process

Responsibilities

• Review OASIS and ICD-10 coding for accuracy using Medicare PDGM and CMS guidelines
• Communicate OASIS edit recommendations to clinicians to improve accuracy
• Perform final review and lock OASIS documents
• Maintain productivity at quarterly targets set by Director of MCM
• Support service offices with CMS guidelines, coding, and billing issues
