Description

You will own the technical and programmatic lifecycle of complex mechanism systems like thrust vector control, leading design, integration, and verification across multiple engineering disciplines. Your work directly contributes to building a next-generation rocket and factory from the ground up.

Requirements

• Experience in mechanisms or mechanical systems engineering
• Ability to lead cross-discipline system-level design and integration
• Proficiency in hardware-software interface definition and verification
• Strong test planning and execution skills
• Willingness to travel and work shifted/weekend schedules for mission milestones

Responsibilities

• Define system CONOPS, requirements, and verification plans
• Lead integrated product activities across mechanical, actuators, GNC, avionics, and software teams
• Drive development tests and flight readiness by authoring test plans and establishing success criteria
• Anticipate technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Take hands-on ownership of emergent challenges including design, test fixtures, and root-cause investigations
