Description

You will develop and extend the device software and firmware stack for photonic AI processors and interconnects, collaborating with hardware and software teams to build security, telemetry, and virtualization capabilities. Your work will directly enable the next generation of computing using light.

Requirements

• BS + 8 years or MS + 6 years in CS, EE, Robotics, or related field
• Industry experience in device driver and kernel development
• Strong hardware-software integration understanding
• Practical knowledge of embedded communication and control peripherals
• Experience developing enterprise-level software/firmware on Linux

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define control plane architecture for photonic interconnects
• Define diagnostics and monitoring architecture for photonic transceivers
• Integrate with DataCenter administration using CMIS, OpenBMC, and DMTF
• Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems with GDB, JTAG, and logic analyzers
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and usability criteria
