💼 About This Role

You'll own the full lifecycle of BMS and EPMS controls across Fluidstack's AI-grade data centers. You'll troubleshoot live systems, commission new facilities, and drive controls standards for the fleet. This role offers the chance to shape critical infrastructure at a fast-growing company fueling superintelligence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot BMS and EPMS systems to maintain uptime for AI compute customers.
• Lead controls improvement projects from scope development to delivery.
• Develop control logic and GUIs, iterating on Sequences of Operations.
• Commission new data center installations with point-to-point and integrated testing.
• Conduct site visits to supervise vendor performance and ensure compliance.

📋 Requirements

• Experience designing, programming, and troubleshooting BMS/EPMS in data centers or mission-critical environments.
• Proficiency with Ignition, FactoryTalk, or equivalent SCADA/BMS platforms.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols: BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, IEC 61850.
• Understanding of engineering docs like P&IDs, BMS drawings, and sequences of operations.
• Experience with data center mechanical/electrical systems (chillers, UPS, generators, etc.).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with hyperscale or high-density GPU data centers.
• Background in controls system architecture and enterprise standards development.
• Familiarity with DCIM platforms and digital twin tools.
