You will work on core observability systems (metrics, logs, traces) and develop robust data pipelines and storage solutions optimized for high throughput and performance. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate observability into Roku's cloud-native stack.

Requirements

• Experience with Golang and Kubernetes
• Passion for building scalable, high-performance systems
• Experience with time-series databases and columnar storage
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Work on core observability systems (metrics, logs, traces)
• Develop robust data pipelines and storage solutions
• Leverage TSDB, columnar storage (Parquet), and distributed data processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate observability into cloud-native stack
• Contribute improvements back to open-source community
