Description
You will lead finance transformation initiatives for private equity-backed portfolio companies, focusing on process improvements, technology enablement, and strategic value creation. You'll manage multi-workstream programs, interact with C-level executives, and contribute to business development.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience in a client-serving role at a top-tier public accounting or financial advisory firm, or mix of client service and private industry experience at a senior level
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA is a plus)
- Proven experience managing large engagements with multiple workstreams
- Deep knowledge of business processes including lead-to-cash, source-to-pay, record-to-report, FP&A
- Strong and up-to-date knowledge of process best practices for finance function professionalization
- Extensive expertise in designing and implementing strategies, processes, and technology to increase effectiveness and reduce costs
- Experience enabling financial processes with finance automation and technology deployment
- Experience performing financial and operational assessments
- Experience driving strategic finance transformations
- Experience working in a private equity environment
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong client service mindset
Responsibilities
- Lead finance function diagnostics and design value-creation roadmaps
- Design and execute process enhancements across lead-to-cash, source-to-pay, record-to-report, and FP&A
- Develop future state operating platforms (organization, processes, technology stack)
- Manage execution of plans to optimize technology and drive process automation
- Set up and drive transformation program governance
- Lead change management across multiple functions and workstreams
- Determine and measure ROI of improvement initiatives
- Manage multi-workstream transformation programs or multiple smaller projects
- Manage junior resources (Vice Presidents, Associates, or Analysts)
- Interact and build relationships with C-level personnel and private equity sponsors
- Assist in growing the firm by driving business development activities
- Take a lead role on internal firm initiatives
