💼 About This Role

You'll provide technical leadership for the Payments team, building robust, scalable, and secure payment capabilities for travel partners. You'll design and develop core services that handle high-volume, business-critical payment workflows, directly impacting payment acceptance rates and revenue. This role is based in Montreal and offers the chance to shape how airline commerce is executed at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership for the Payments team in an Agile environment.
• Design and evolve end-to-end payment flows and services.
• Lead architecture assessments and reviews for payment initiatives.
• Serve as technical SME for payments, including authorization and reconciliation.
• Drive PSP integrations with orchestration, routing, and failover strategies.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant software development experience with complex distributed systems.
• Extensive experience in Java (Spring framework) software design and implementation.
• Expertise in payments domain with PSP integration experience.
• Proven technical leadership of teams or large initiatives with a delivery-oriented mindset.

• Knowledge of front-end technologies like TypeScript and React.
• Experience with high-volume transaction systems and reconciliation.
