Description

You will contribute to the development of Nebius's hyperscaler platform by working on the KVM hypervisor and QEMU device emulator. Your focus will be on optimizing I/O, integrating the hypervisor with platform services, and advancing open source virtualization.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software engineering experience
• Fluent in C programming language
• 3+ years experience with Linux
• At least 3 years engineering experience with QEMU/KVM
• General understanding of x86-compatible systems (virtual memory, interrupts, privilege rings)

Responsibilities

• Optimize I/O for emulated disk and network devices
• Integrate hypervisor with platform services and storage facilities
• Efficiently distribute resources between virtual machines
• Improve guest system support
• Provide low-level security for hypervisor and emulator
