Description

You will lead the testing and inspection of complex prototype electrical assemblies, collaborate with multi-disciplined design teams, and ensure compliance with workmanship standards and customer requirements. This role is critical to bringing engineering concepts to life in a mission-critical environment.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent with 8+ years inspecting electrical assemblies in cables, wire harnesses, chassis, circuit cards, or racked electronics
• Experience reading electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Clearance
• Experience with CMMs, optical comparators, calipers, and micrometers preferred
• J-STD-001, IPC 610/620 certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect complex prototype electrical assemblies per workmanship standards
• Interpret drawings, schematics, 3D models, and specifications
• Adapt methods to test, inspect, and troubleshoot new hardware
• Assist in engineering drawing peer reviews for producible prototypes
• Document and communicate discrepancies to customers and collaborate on design improvements
