💼 About This Role

You'll gain hands-on experience in emergency veterinary medicine alongside credentialed technicians at VEG. You'll assist with triage, diagnostics, and inpatient care, exploring whether ER medicine is your future. This externship offers flexibility in location and duration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Learn from emergency veterinary professionals with real-time mentoring
• Shadow and assist with triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, and inpatient care
• Practice skills from your school's proficiency checklist with guidance
• Experience teamwork and pace of emergency care at VEG

📋 Requirements

• Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program
• Enrolled in a course requiring externship hours or skills
• Current rabies vaccination or titer
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and support up to 40 kg with assistance
