You'll join the Grafana Cloud k6 squad to build and operate performance testing products at scale. Your core impact is establishing engineering excellence and reliability practices across teams. This role offers hands-on coding and the chance to shape product architecture in a remote-first, open-source environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement production-quality software for Grafana Cloud k6
• Guide teams in building and operating large-scale distributed cloud systems
• Establish reliability frameworks like SLIs/SLOs and error budgets
• Participate in on-call rotation as primary escalation point

📋 Requirements

• Strong programming background in a modern language (Python or Go)
• Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems
• Strong experience with SRE practices and production systems
• Experience defining SLIs/SLOs and error budgets

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with containerized and cloud-native systems (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
• Familiarity with observability platforms (e.g., Grafana stack)
• Experience with Python, Go, JavaScript, or Jsonnet
