Description

You will lead the design and scaling of AI platforms and proxy systems used company-wide, enabling every team at SpaceX to harness AI for faster development. Your work involves building secure gateways, onboarding new models, and creating tools that accelerate production and development with trustworthy AI.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a senior software engineer
• Experience with building scalable platforms and secure proxy systems
• Familiarity with Docker containers and cloud compute providers
• Experience with AI/ML model integration and infrastructure
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and implementation of secure, scalable AI platforms and proxy systems
• Own complex platform initiatives end-to-end
• Drive onboarding of new frontier models and expansion of compute resources
• Optimize proxy systems for performance, security, logging, and control
• Champion adoption across SpaceX by mentoring engineers and building shared products/infrastructure
