You will lead a high-opportunity market as Square's presence, spending ~80% of your week in the field driving 50-60 targeted business visits, generating leads, delivering demos, and closing deals across Square's full product suite. You'll build pipeline from scratch, establish partnerships, and help local businesses grow through Square's ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full cycle closing sales experience with field sales
  • Proven track record exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals
  • Ability to drive deals independently in fast-paced environment
  • Business development and hunting experience
  • Reliable transportation and live in the market

Responsibilities

  • Spend ~80% of the week in the field walking territory and driving 50–60 business visits weekly
  • Run full-cycle, self-sourced sales motion: generate leads, identify needs, demo, and close deals
  • Build trust-based relationships with local sellers and partner for seamless onboarding
  • Develop repeatable top-of-funnel engine through outreach, events, and partnerships
  • Master key verticals (restaurants, retail, services) and sell consultatively
