Description

You will support destructive and non-destructive analyses of PCBA and EEE piece part failures during development and production phases at SpaceX. Work directly in the failure analysis lab to determine manufacturing quality and support investigations into nonconforming product, contributing to national security space efforts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years experience in component/PCBA failure analysis laboratory
• Experience with EEE piece parts and components
• Experience with non-destructive analysis techniques (X-Ray, CT scan, SEM)
• Experience with destructive analysis techniques (cross section, parallel lapping, chemical decapsulation)

Responsibilities

• Support destructive and non-destructive analyses during development and pre-production phases
• Assist with analysis of piece part failures and non-conforming material
• Support engineering in analysis of rework and recovery efforts on non-conforming hardware
• Support efforts on First Article Inspection Reports
• Provide targeted surge support for critical analyses or qualification test efforts
