💼 About This Role

You'll join a team creating agentic services that automate routine insurance broker work, freeing brokers for high-stakes strategy. You'll build production AI systems that fully automate categories of tasks like submission processing and renewal management. This is a US-based remote or hybrid role with a VP of Engineering, Data reporting line.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build 0-1 AI systems that transform core brokering workflows from prototype to production.
• Embed directly with brokering teams to identify and build automation opportunities.
• Ship production-ready AI features that reduce quote turnaround time by 80%.
• Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks for AI in regulated insurance contexts.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or AI/ML application development
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with modern development and deployment practices (e.g., containerization, CI/CD)
• Track record of leading AI/ML projects

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience deploying or leveraging machine learning models and Large Language Models (LLMs) for business applications
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art LLM techniques, models, and vendors
• Experience with JavaScript backend frameworks such as Node.js and TypeScript
