💼 About This Role

You'll join Vonage's Engineering team to build a best-in-class real-time platform for Network APIs. You'll develop scalable microservices and write efficient code using Java/Kotlin on AWS. This role offers the chance to work on high-performance distributed systems that power global communications for companies like Airbnb and Snapchat.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build systems to add features across our Network API Platform
• Create scalable microservices to support growth
• Write efficient and scalable code in well-tested systems
• Develop on a public cloud infrastructure

📋 Requirements

• Excellent software engineering skills in Java
• Practical understanding of high-performance, highly distributed computing
• Strong focus on testing
• Experience with public cloud (AWS advantageous)

• Experience with event-driven pipelines
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
