Description

You will provide technical leadership to a new team building a platform that makes it easier for customers to build AI applications using MongoDB. You'll work on challenging projects to improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed systems infrastructure.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience building distributed systems or cloud services
• Strong background in core components for high-scale compute and data distributed systems
• Proven success with Python, Go, and Java
• Experience leading 15-20 person projects from conception to delivery
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver well-tested core pieces of the platform
• Shape architecture, code reviews, and development practices
• Mentor fellow engineers and assume ownership of projects
• Work with research, product management, and other teams to define the service
• Identify problems and implement solutions in distributed systems
