💼 About This Role

You'll own and evolve the infrastructure powering Docker's billing platform, supporting millions of users and real financial transactions. You'll define AI-assisted infrastructure operations and set the standard for safe, observable systems across the engineering org. This role offers the chance to shape how AI agents interact with production infrastructure at a globally trusted developer brand.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain IaC for billing systems on AWS using Terraform
• Build and own observability stacks focused on billing accuracy
• Define deployment patterns and runbooks for AI-agent-assisted workflows
• Lead incident response and own on-call rotation for billing systems

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in platform or infrastructure roles supporting production SaaS
• Deep AWS expertise with ECS/EKS, RDS, networking, IAM, cost management
• Expert-level Terraform designing reusable module patterns
• Experience building organizational-scale observability stacks (Datadog, Grafana)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with billing, payments, or financial systems infrastructure
• Kubernetes at operational and architectural level
• Strong familiarity with CI/CD systems like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
