Description

You will fabricate precision tube assemblies for the Starship vehicle, working with engineering to prove out designs and resolve fitment issues. The role involves coordinating all tube bending operations, from prep to CNC bending and cleaning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 1+ years manufacturing or production experience
• Experience with thin-walled tubing and materials like Inconel, titanium, aluminum, nickel, stainless steel
• Experience with CNC bending machines (Crippa, BLM, Horn preferred)
• Ability to interpret blueprints and articulate work instructions

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tube bending operations including prep, flaring, CNC bending, inspection and cleaning
• Set up and operate all tube-bending equipment to close tolerances
• Work with engineering to prove out designs with minimum fixtures and short schedules
• Solve tube fitment issues and document changes for development work
• Improve quality and productivity through actions management
