💼 About This Role

You'll provide technical evaluations on process engineering, process safety, and hazard analysis projects for energetics research and manufacturing. Your work will directly support Naval operations at the Naval Support Facility Indian Head. You'll also mentor junior engineers in a team-focused environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Plan and execute hazard analyses (PHA, PrHA, LOPA, FMEA, etc.)
• Apply root cause and fault tree analysis in incident investigations
• Develop safety, environmental, and quality documentation for process startups
• Review SOPs, drawings, and engineering calculations for energetics processing

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• At least 20 years of relevant experience
• Strong technical background in process engineering and process safety
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret-level security clearance

• Expertise in energetic manufacturing processes
• Experience with vertical/horizontal mixing of energetic compounds
• Experience with pour and pressure casting of energetic compounds
