You'll design, build, and operate data services and APIs for a high school sports platform. You'll own technical design and ensure reliable, well-documented data pipelines that application teams depend on daily.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and operate data services and APIs for application teams.
• Partner with Data Platform engineers to translate event streams into application-ready interfaces.
• Own technical design for major features including API shape and data contracts.
• Improve observability, correctness, and operational maturity of data products.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production software systems.
• Strong Python skills for production-grade, testable code.
• Strong SQL skills and comfort with large analytical datasets.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming systems (Kafka, Flink, or equivalent).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Background in data modeling for analytical or operational use cases.
• ML engineering basics including feature pipelines.
