💼 About This Role

You'll design and build integration patterns and tooling for high-impact external partnerships at 1Password. You'll work directly with partners to validate feasibility and shape integration approaches. This senior IC role operates independently and influences platform evolution.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead technical design and implementation for complex external integrations.
• Partner with Strategic Partnerships team to validate feasibility and shape approaches.
• Build and extend platform components to support in-flight integrations.
• Identify integration patterns and abstract them into reusable infrastructure.

📋 Requirements

• Backend or full-stack engineering experience building APIs, SDKs, platform capabilities.
• Experience with AI-native technologies (LLM APIs, agent frameworks, embeddings).
• Track record of delivering complex integrations across organizational boundaries.
• Experience designing secure systems (authentication, authorization, policy-driven access).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building or maintaining developer platforms or SDK ecosystems.
• Familiarity with browser integrations or extension architectures.
• Hands-on experience integrating with external AI companies or AI-native technologies.
