Description

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Cloud Native Protection team, you will lead the design and development of cloud-native services for backup, recovery, and security of workloads. You'll drive end-to-end initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams to tackle complex technical challenges and protect customer cloud data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
• 11+ years building large-scale distributed enterprise or cloud-native software
• Deep expertise in Java, Go, or Python
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or GCP and native services
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and event-driven architectures

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of cloud-native services for backup, recovery, and security
• Own and drive end-to-end initiatives from architecture to production deployment
• Collaborate with Product Management and Architecture on technical roadmap
• Mentor engineers on distributed systems, scalability, and resiliency
• Champion automation, CI/CD, and cloud-native observability
