You'll serve as the primary finance partner to Engineering leaders, helping them make smart decisions about headcount, vendor spend, and operational investments. You'll build driver-based financial models tied to technical inputs like usage, seats, and throughput. This role offers the chance to engage substantively with technical leaders and push back constructively when numbers don't add up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as primary finance partner to Engineering leaders on vendor and tooling spend
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models for engineering OpEx
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for engineering organization
• Drive analyses on build-vs-buy decisions, vendor consolidation, and contract negotiations

📋 Requirements

• FP&A or OpEx finance experience at high-growth technology companies
• Demonstrated experience building driver-based financial models tying spend to operational inputs
• Comfortable with technical concepts and genuine interest in systems and infrastructure
• Track record of pushing back constructively on senior stakeholders with data and reasoning

• Experience at a high-growth technology company or startup
• Expertise with modern financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Pigment)
• Direct experience partnering with Engineering or R&D as a finance business partner
