Description

You will work directly with students in the classroom, implementing behavior therapy techniques and collaborating with teachers to support students with Autism and other IDDs. Your role focuses on reducing challenging behaviors, increasing functional skills, and fostering independence.

Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to pursue it
• At least 18 years of age
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR passage of ParaPro Praxis
• Experience with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students in the classroom following established service plans
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams
• Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers
• Document interventions and progress, collect behavior data
• Provide training and assistance to help students acquire skills and meet goals
