Description

As a Market Manager, you will drive the growth and success of professional host accounts in UAE/Northern Africa, focusing on retention, acquisition, and optimization. You'll build strong relationships, analyze data, and collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen Airbnb's local market presence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in account management, partner support, and/or sales
  • 2+ years in hospitality/travel industry preferred
  • Willingness to regularly travel to aligned market territory (once every 1-2 times per quarter)
  • Proven track record of effectively working a leads pipeline or book of business
  • Proficient in CRM software, especially Salesforce and Mixmax preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient quantitative skills and ability to interpret and apply data
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, execute in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and balance short-term with long-term initiatives
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy (being an Airbnb host is a plus)
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Charismatic self-starter, resourceful and self-sufficient
  • Mandatory fluency in English and Arabic; French preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage professional host account relationships within UAE/Northern Africa
  • Directly manage accounts to meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales goals
  • Analyze data to identify strategic opportunities and drive sales growth
  • Prospect and onboard high-quality supply in assigned geography
  • Maintain technical understanding of software partners to support clients
  • Represent Airbnb in external meetings with professional hosts
  • Educate clients on product changes and cascade feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Hold regular optimization calls and business reviews with clients
  • Develop deep knowledge of local geographic markets
  • Respond to and deliver exceptional service to professional hosts, with occasional travel
  • Work cross-functionally with public policy, legal, communication, and customer support teams
  • Engage entrepreneurial mindset to design and execute bespoke engagement initiatives
  • Support host community programs in the region
