Description

As a Risk Manager on the Global Risk Management team at Jump Trading, you will manage moment-to-moment risk for all trading teams, evaluate new strategies and markets, and work with technology teams to advance the firm's risk infrastructure. You'll use Python, SQL, and Excel to monitor exposures and automate reporting.

Requirements

• Senior level risk management expertise
• Technical skills in Python, SQL, Excel
• Experience in high-pressure environments
• Strong understanding of US equity markets and microstructure
• Ability to collaborate with front office and technology teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as NYC go-to operational risk partner: set exposure limits, operate controls, investigate exceptions
• Monitor factor/sector and liquidity/correlation exposures across strategies
• Perform daily and intraday risk monitoring to identify material exposures and anomalies
• Apply US equity market microstructure knowledge to monitoring and controls
• Liaise with internal teams and external brokers on margin, financing, and trade-lifecycle issues
