You'll lead a team defining and validating the Nuro Driver's performance across hardware and software systems. You'll translate use cases into requirements, drive trade studies, and partner across disciplines to ensure safe, scalable deployment of autonomous driving technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and grow a team of systems engineers on autonomy requirements and validation.
• Decompose use cases into requirements for sensors, perception, and system behavior.
• Conduct trade studies informing hardware/software architecture and sensor configuration.
• Partner with test engineering to ensure verification strategies validate requirements.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years systems engineering experience delivering complex systems
• 5+ years direct management experience with high-performing teams
• Strong systems engineering fundamentals (requirements, verification, performance analysis)
• Experience on complex hardware/software systems in autonomy, robotics, or safety-critical domains

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep technical knowledge of modern perception systems and ML techniques
• Experience with multiple sensing modalities (cameras, radar, lidar, ultrasonics)
• Experience in autonomous driving, robotics, or safety-critical AI
