Description

In this role, you will design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using GCP, AWS, or Azure, implement SRE practices to ensure reliability, and build CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery. Your work will directly support Harness's mission to automate and govern the software delivery lifecycle for enterprise customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or SRE
• Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and cloud-native services
• Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, and configuration management tools
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline tools and version control (Git)
• Strong coding skills in Python or Go

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using GCP, AWS, or Azure with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Implement SRE practices: error budgets, SLIs, SLOs, incident management, and proactive monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Harness
• Automate operations with scripting (Python, Go) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Ensure security and compliance through audits and best practices
