You'll lead the technical vision and team behind Promise's Payment Plans platform, scaling a product that helps families nationwide avoid penalties with flexible, interest-free installments. You will set technical direction while staying hands-on, building secure and scalable systems for government and utility clients. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Build alongside the team and own the product's technical details.
• Partner with Product and Design to prioritize features for scale and impact.
• Ensure platform security, composability, and reliability for nationwide use.
• Automate workflows using AI to reduce operational overhead.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years building and scaling production software.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams or major projects.
• Strong background in backend systems and system design.
• Experience with legacy or third-party system integration.
