💼 About This Role

You'll develop and execute validation procedures and automated tests for firmware on our eTrailer system, collaborating with hardware and software teams. You'll be the first point of contact for field issues and drive test automation and release processes. This role offers high autonomy to shape validation from the ground up at a well-funded EV startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and validation procedures
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers on feature testing
• Debug firmware issues on ECUs from test bench to full trailer systems
• Support release processes and code reviews

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 2-8+ years of engineering experience including embedded development
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Experience with Git version control and hardware troubleshooting

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with test automation frameworks like pytest
• Familiarity with CAN bus and automotive control architecture
• Experience with UDS or EV charging protocols
