You will design and develop tools and factory automation equipment for rocket manufacturing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and own solutions from concept to delivery on the factory floor.

Requirements

• Expertise in mechanical design and analysis of factory automation equipment
• Proficiency in ASME Y14.5 drafting standards
• Experience with diverse technical problems in manufacturing tooling
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering disciplines
• Track record of delivering hardware solutions in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality production tooling and automation for Terran R and Aeon engine programs
• Integrate mechanical design and analysis across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Interpret and apply ASME Y14.5 drafting standards in tooling drawings
• Handle technical problems across material handling, assembly fixtures, test fixtures, and custom machines
• Collaborate with component designers, manufacturing engineers, and integration engineers for cradle-to-grave metrics
