💼 About This Role

You'll design and route complex wire harnesses for Apptronik's humanoid robot Apollo, acting as the key bridge between electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams. Your work will ensure robust power and data distribution for high-DOF dynamic joints in a cutting-edge robotics platform. This role offers hands-on impact on testing, failure analysis, and production scale-up of a transformative product.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and route complex wire harness assemblies using E-CAD software
• Apply best practices for dynamic routing across high-DOF joints
• Collaborate with EE, ME, and manufacturing to optimize harness placement
• Drive DfM and DfA initiatives to reduce complexity and assembly time
• Conduct root cause analysis and validation testing on harness failures

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing wire harnesses for complex electromechanical systems
• Strong knowledge of high-speed data (GMSL, CAN, Ethernet) and high-power distribution
• Proven track record in dynamic cabling for robotics or similar applications
• Proficiency in E-CAD software such as Zuken E3.series or Altium
