Description

You will lead Peloton's global product safety legal function, setting strategy for hardware and software safety matters. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Safety Compliance teams throughout the product lifecycle and serve as the primary legal liaison for product safety, including with senior management and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership
• 12+ years legal experience with focus on consumer product safety
• Deep experience with CPSC regulations and processes
• Experience advising executives and boards on product safety matters
• Proven track record of building or leading a product safety legal program

Responsibilities

• Manage and evolve global product safety legal function
• Serve as key legal strategist and advisor to C-suite on product safety issues
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Safety Compliance leaders to integrate safety-by-design principles
• Lead legal response to post-market safety escalations, including recalls
• Lead engagement and strategy with global product safety regulators (e.g., CPSC, EU authorities)
