Description

You will plan and implement Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for an iconic electric vehicle brand. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of MES platform planning, integration with shopfloor equipment, project coordination, and supplier management to ensure seamless production systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years professional experience in automotive production (Body, Paint, or Assembly Shop)
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• 2+ years project management experience
• Expertise in Production/Shopfloor systems such as Worker Guidance, Quality Management, or Data Collection
• Ability to adapt to complex production and IT landscape in fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• End-to-end business responsibility for planning the MES platform including Worker Guidance, Quality Management, and Data Collection interfaces
• Plan Production/Shopfloor systems from concept through implementation to final acceptance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to identify needs, troubleshoot, and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure seamless integration of MES system with shopfloor technology
• Manage project coordination in terms of time, costs, and quality, including leading progress meetings and conducting concept releases
