Description
Support a mixed-age Montessori classroom (ages 0-6) by helping create a calm, engaging environment where children develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning. You'll assist with preparing learning spaces, supporting individual and small-group activities, and building warm relationships with children and families.
Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 3-6 in a school or childcare setting
- Positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset
- Genuine love for working with young children
- Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach
Responsibilities
- Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs
- Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment
- Support individual and small-group learning activities
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families
- Collaborate with Lead Guides and team members to create a strong classroom community
