You'll lead special events sales for a major venue in the Southwest, driving revenue through client relationships and event execution. You'll manage a team and grow the special event business through networking and marketing.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Network, research and cold call potential clients to create new business
- Manage client relationships and create event proposals and budgets
- Train and manage special event staff including bar and security personnel
- Negotiate deal terms, prepare contracts, and collect deposits
๐ Requirements
- BA/BS degree (4-year) required
- 6-8 years of related work experience
- Sales experience with ability to foster client relationships
- MS Office Professional Suite proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)

- Advanced degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Prior experience working in music venues
- Event planning and execution experience
