Description

You will architect and implement advanced state estimation algorithms for eVTOL aircraft, integrating with sensors and collaborating across teams to ensure safety and performance.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in state estimation algorithm design and verification
• Master's or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in Simulink/MATLAB
• Experience with sensor fusion (INS, GNSS, airspeed, altimeters)
• Working knowledge of ARP4754A, DO-178C, and DO-331

Responsibilities

• Architect and design advanced state estimation algorithms for eVTOL aircraft
• Implement state estimation algorithms in Simulink
• Integrate state estimation with air data systems, INS, GNSS, and other sensors
• Develop verification and validation strategies including HIL and flight testing
• Analyze data from simulation, lab, and flight testing
