💼 About This Role

You'll build and scale Kindred's accounting function as the company grows, transitioning from outsourced to in-house operations. You'll ensure financial accuracy and strong controls while owning the close process and serving as a trusted partner to leadership. This hands-on role offers high autonomy to establish a best-in-class accounting foundation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Lead transition from outsourced to in-house accounting
• Establish accounting policies under US GAAP
• Oversee general ledger, revenue recognition, and reconciliations

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of accounting experience in private companies
• Strong command of US GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Experience transitioning accounting from outsourced to in-house
• Experience implementing or owning ERP systems like NetSuite

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience hiring or scaling accounting teams
• Experience managing audits and external advisors
