💼 About This Role

You'll integrate and develop perception components like radar, camera, LiDAR, and GPS into Saronic's unmanned surface vessels. You'll solving real-world problems in complex, noisy domains and shape the future of naval autonomy. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a multi-disciplinary team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as technical expert on perception hardware integration.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Define requirements and validation methods for perception systems.
• Design calibration fixtures and tooling for high-rate production.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years designing complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX/Unigraphics preferred).
• Experience with engineering trade studies and finite element analysis.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with maritime autonomy challenges (dynamic environments, variable lighting).
• Proven success integrating optical/sensor systems on maritime or aerospace platforms.
• Prior experience on DoD programs or unmanned maritime systems.
