💼 About This Role

You'll own the end-to-end hardware reliability validation strategy for Block's consumer electronics portfolio, serving as the single point of accountability for test planning, execution, and results synthesis. You'll drive cross-program learning and ensure reliability risks are surfaced and resolved without being overshadowed by schedule pressure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own hardware reliability strategy across products from early development to production
• Define standardized REL test plans by product category and development phase
• Manage REL schedules across multiple concurrent hardware programs
• Drive failure analysis and define mitigation and validation plans
• Communicate reliability status, risks, and tradeoffs to leadership

📋 Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field
• 8+ years industry experience in consumer electronics hardware development
• 5+ years directly owning or managing hardware reliability programs
• Strong hands-on knowledge of reliability testing methodologies (HALT, HASS, EVT/DVT/PVT REL testing)

• Experience supporting products through mass production and field returns analysis
