You'll lead the technical direction for Claude's core chat experience on mobile, shaping how the interface evolves across iOS and Android. You'll set architectural direction and make the hardest technical calls while building credibility across teams. This role combines deep technical craft with product strategy influence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own technical strategy for Claude's chat surface on mobile
• Partner with cross-team engineers for seamless integration
• Optimize iOS and Android internals for performance and streaming
• Define and enforce quality standards and systems

📋 Requirements

• Led technical direction across multiple teams you didn't manage
• Deeply expert on at least one mobile platform (iOS preferred)
• Shipped consumer-scale mobile apps with quality systems
• Worked well with product, design, and partner engineering teams

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building AI/LLM-powered or real-time streaming chat interfaces
• Depth across both iOS and Android, or native + cross-platform
• Track record of seeing multi-quarter technical strategy through to outcome
