Description

You will guide the vision, strategy, and execution of Ivo's design system while managing a small team of designers. You will work across Product and Engineering to build a system that enables rapid iteration without sacrificing coherence, taste, or craft.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product design, design systems, or front-end/UI engineering
• 2+ years of people management experience (designers, engineers, or cross-functional teams)
• Experience building design systems for SaaS platforms
• Deep expertise in Figma, component libraries, tokens, variants, and systematic file organization
• Constantly learning and adapting to the rapid changes AI brings to UI/UX
• A proclivity to adopting and experimenting intelligently with AI tools
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and high expectations for craft
• A portfolio that demonstrates scalable design patterns

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and scale component libraries, design tokens, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards
• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ivo's design system
• Partner closely with Engineering to ensure system adoption, alignment, and implementation quality
• Develop workflows that improve designer and developer collaboration, such as Figma libraries, documentation, and quality checks
• Shape internal best practices for design documentation, guidelines, and cross-team collaboration
• Constantly raise the bar for design craft and execution
