💼 About This Role

You'll join the GNC team to design, analyze, and simulate reentry vehicles for Varda's in-space ecosystem. You'll own tasks from 6DOF simulation to sensor integration, supporting end-to-end GNC performance. This internship offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge aerospace technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own or contribute to GNC analysis, algorithms, and simulations for reentry vehicles
• Integrate and test GNC sensors, actuators, and software in simulation and HIL environments
• Design and implement mission-critical tooling for automated maneuver planning and scheduling
• Perform trajectory design, optimization, and dispersion analysis for reentry capsules

📋 Requirements

• Previous GNC internship experience
• Familiarity with orbital mechanics and flight dynamics
• Experience with C++ or Python and modern software development
• Knowledge of 6DOF flight simulations and Monte Carlo analysis

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience on a technical project team (e.g., CubeSat, Rocket Team)
• Familiarity with Monte Carlo analysis, navigation filters, or HIL environments
• Experience with tools like GMAT, POST2, MATLAB/Simulink, or custom orbital simulation frameworks
