Requirements

  • 1-2 years in high-volume culinary or food production environment
  • Strong understanding of basic culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Food Handler Certification required or obtained within 30 days

Responsibilities

  • Support accurate stock rotation using FIFO practices and flag expiration risks
  • Detect operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations and report in real time
  • Assist supervisors in recording production data, ensuring batch tracking and shift documentation accuracy
  • Monitor correct equipment usage and report malfunctions to appropriate departments
  • Support internal audits and implement immediate corrective actions during inspections
