Description

You will lead the Asset Reliability team for Starship heat tile manufacturing hardware and production systems, ensuring maximum equipment availability and production throughput. You'll build and manage a team of engineers, develop maintenance strategies, and collaborate with production and process engineering to resolve technical issues and improve long-term system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or HS diploma + 5 years personnel management in production
• 2+ years managing direct reports in technical leadership role
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing, industrial, or aerospace environment
• Experience implementing maintenance/reliability programs for new manufacturing systems
• Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, fluid, chemical, and electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Thermal Hardware Production Asset Reliability team
• Develop maintenance strategies for maximum machine availability and OEE
• Act as primary point of contact for production and process engineering on key issues
• Establish root cause of technical incidents and eliminate recurrences
• Manage spare parts inventory and justify asset improvement projects
