You'll lead Relay's SRE function, defining strategy for a digital banking platform serving self-made business owners. You'll drive reliability roadmap, embed operational excellence across engineering, and act as senior reliability voice in leadership discussions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and evolve Relay's SRE function, setting strategic direction
• Define and drive long-term reliability roadmap with principled tradeoffs
• Act as senior escalation point during critical production incidents
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Data, and Finance stakeholders

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams
• 8+ years in Site Reliability, Platform, or Infrastructure roles
• Owned and materially improved reliability, scalability, performance in production systems
• Defined and driven reliability or platform strategy across teams

• Scaled an SRE or platform organization through significant growth phase
• Experience in fintech or regulated, high-availability environments
• Implemented SLO frameworks, error budgets, and capacity planning at scale
